Ministry

There are different types of ministries.

Liturgical Ministries

Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another.

Ministry to Homebound

Adult volunteers are needed to visit, pray, and administer Communion on Sundays to Catholics who are homebound or live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.

Spirituality Ministries

Hour of Prayer & Eucharistic Adoration

Volunteers offer an hour of prayer on a scheduled basis for our parish and for world needs.

Liturgical Ministries

Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Liturgical Ministries include Altar Servers, Lectors (Readers), Music Ministers, Ushers/Ministers of Hospitality, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Minister).

If you are interested in one of these ministries and would like to be trained, please contact Lacy Riddle at the Parish Office, 270-623-8181.

Ministry to Homebound

Adult volunteers are needed to visit, pray, and administer Communion on Sundays to Catholics who are homebound or live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Volunteers typically serve on a rotating basis. Substitutes who serve on an as-needed basis are also needed. Training and Safe Environment training/certification are required. Transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Spirituality Ministries

Hour of Prayer

Volunteers offer an hour of prayer on a scheduled basis for our parish and for world needs. Prayers may be offered at church, home or whatever location is convenient for the volunteer. Adult and youth volunteers are welcome.

Eucharistic Adoration

This is before the Blessed Sacrament and takes place the first Sunday of every month from 12 noon to 5:00 PM in church.
